    The Hotel Kristal Palace is located in Riva del Garda, in a prime and peaceful setting, just a short distance from the beautiful shores of Lake Garda and the historic center. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere, ideal both for those seeking an active outdoor vacation and for those who want to unwind completely. It offers private parking for guests and a magnificent Sky Pool panoramic terrace with a heated pool during the summer months.

  • How far is the Kristal Palace Hotel from the beach and the town centre?

    The hotel is strategically located: the beach is just a few minutes’ walk away (about 200 meters), while the historic centre of Riva del Garda is an easy and pleasant flat stroll along the lake. The beautiful bike path begins right outside the hotel, runs along the lakefront, and connects Riva del Garda to Torbole and Arco.

  • What amenities are available in the immediate vicinity?

    Thanks to its central location, guests can easily do without a car during their stay. In the immediate vicinity, there are sailing and windsurfing schools, rental shops, and mountain bike guides, as well as a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shops, and the boat pier for exploring other towns around the lake.

    There are generally three types of rates available on our website:

    • Non-Refundable Rate: The most economical option, with a special discount. It requires advance payment and is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
    • Semi-Flexible Rate: A convenient middle ground that requires a deposit and allows changes with specific advance notice.
    • Flexible Rate: No advance payment required (the credit card is held as a guarantee only). Payment is made directly at the hotel, and cancellations are free of charge within the time frame specified at the time of booking.

  • How much is the tourist tax?

    The tourist tax is €2.50 per person per night.

    All 58 of our rooms are modern, bright, and air-conditioned. They feature free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a safe, a minibar, a kettle, and a private bathroom with a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. All rooms have a private balcony.

  • What types of rooms are available?

    We offer a variety of room types to meet every need:

    • Standard Room: Our classic, cozy, and functional option, equipped with all the essential amenities for a pleasant stay.
    • Deluxe Room: A room completely renovated in style and furnishings, offering a modern, fresh, and even more comfortable atmosphere.
    • Deluxe Room with Terrace: Identical to the Deluxe Room in terms of interior design and comfort, but enhanced by a spacious private outdoor terrace, elegantly furnished with a sitting area and lounge chairs for your moments of relaxation outdoors.
    • Executive Room: Located on the exclusive 5th floor of the hotel, it offers a prime location and a high standard of comfort.
    • Junior Suite: A spacious and elegant suite, completely renovated, combining a comfortable sleeping area with an integrated living area for greater comfort.
    • Suite: Our most prestigious accommodation, which has also been completely renovated. It stands out for its spacious and elegant design and is the only category to feature a private Jacuzzi tub right in the room.
    • Lake View Penthouse: A stunning Junior Suite located on the top floor, boasting a spectacular view of Lake Garda and a fabulous private terrace equipped with an outdoor seating area.

  • Do you have family rooms?

    We have triple rooms that can accommodate up to 3 people.

  • Can I bring the kids?

    Our property is adult-friendly. To ensure an atmosphere of complete relaxation and tranquility for all our guests, we welcome guests who are 14 years of age or older.

    The rooms feature the main Italian national channels (Rai 1–3, Rete 4, Canale 5, Italia 1, La7, Canale 8), international channels in German and English (including Das Erste, ZDF, RTL, BBC News, and Sky News), and Sky channels.

  • Do you offer a laundry service for guests?

    Yes, for a fee. Inside the closet, you'll find a designated bag with a form to fill out. Items to be washed or ironed (excluding dry cleaning) will be returned within 24 hours.

  • Is there Wi-Fi at the hotel?

    Yes, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.

Dining and Bars


  • What board options do you offer?

    The Kristal Palace Hotel offers bed and breakfast (BB) or half-board with breakfast and dinner included (HB). Our “Live” restaurant offers excellent dinner options, including a four-course daily special or an à la carte menu.

  • Is breakfast included?

    Yes, breakfast is always included with your stay. It is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.—from September through May at the Live restaurant, and from May through September at the Skypool Bar (weather permitting). We offer a rich and carefully curated international buffet with both sweet and savory options: artisanal cakes, fresh croissants, local cold cuts and cheeses, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, and high-quality espresso.

  • Do you offer options for food intolerances or special dietary requirements (Gluten-free, Vegan)?

    Certainly. Our breakfast buffet includes a selection of vegetarian and vegan options. We also offer specific gluten-free options for guests with celiac disease. Please let us know about any food intolerances or allergies at the time of booking so we can provide you with the best possible service. For dinner, our chef will be happy to prepare a custom daily menu tailored to your needs.

  • Do you have a restaurant inside the hotel?

    Yes, the hotel has an on-site restaurant called “Live,” which serves local and international dishes prepared by our chef. It is open for dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
    For lunch, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m, the “Easy Lunch” service is available, offering a menu with the day’s first and second courses, served on our panoramic Skypool terrace. During extended hours, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the “Fast & Special” service is available, and you can order snacks and toasted sandwiches, while fresh-baked pizzas are served from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, lunch is served in our “Live” restaurant. We do not offer restaurant service in January.

  • Is there a dress code for dinner at the restaurant?

    Yes, for dinner at the LIVE Restaurant, guests are required to wear casual-chic attire; men must wear dress pants or jeans and closed-toe shoes. Swimsuits and bare chests are not permitted.

  • Is room service available?

    Yes, room service is available and costs an additional €10.00 per order.

  • How much does dinner cost, and what are the main dishes on the menu?

    The Chef's Daily Special (4-course menu) costs €40.00, not including drinks. An à la carte menu featuring local specialties is also available.

  • Do you have a bar?

    Of course, our Skypool Bar, located on our panoramic terrace on the 6th and top floor, is open all day—starting in the morning with breakfast, at noon for lunch, in the afternoon for snacks and aperitifs, and finally as a cocktail bar until 11:30 p.m., accompanied by live music.

  • Is there a happy hour?

    Yes, Happy Hour on our panoramic terrace at the Skypool Bar is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In case of bad weather, our Lounge Bar on the ground floor will be open.

  • Does the hotel host events with live music?

    Yes, we offer evening entertainment at our Skypool bar with live music from Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

    Riva del Garda is the capital of wellness and outdoor sports. Must-try activities include:

    • Hiking and Walking: The world-famous Ponale Trail (carved into the rock overlooking the lake), the ascent to the Riva Bastion via the panoramic glass elevator, and the Busatte-Tempesta trail in nearby Torbole.
    • Water Sports: Windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, and SUP, thanks to the steady winds of Upper Lake Garda (the Pelèr in the morning and the Ora in the afternoon).

    Yes, the hotel offers a program of free guided activities for its guests (the “Be Active!” program runs during the high season, from mid-May to early September), such as a Guided Walk—a cultural stroll through the historic center, yoga, guided hikes to explore the area, and water aerobics in the pool.

  • Is there a gym or fitness area at the hotel?

    Yes, we have a fitness center, and it's open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

  • Do you offer a shuttle bus service?

    Yes, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus that connects the Kristal Palace to the Historic Center and the Harbor. The service runs from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., from May through September, and is available only by advance reservation at the front desk.

  • What is the Garda Guest Card, and how can I get one?

    The Garda Guest Card is a paper or digital tourist card that we offer free of charge to our guests. It allows you to ride public transportation for free throughout the province of Trento, enjoy free admission or significant discounts at over 60 museums, castles (such as the Rocca di Riva or the Mart), and attractions, as well as receive special offers on local experiences and tastings.

  • Where can I park my bike?

    We have a private, locked bicycle storage area that is accessible only with an authorized card. Inside, guests will find dedicated charging stations for e-bikes and a workstation equipped with tools for minor maintenance and repairs. There is also an outdoor area for washing bikes.

  • Do you offer a bike rental service?

    Yes, the hotel offers its guests free City Bike rentals, available every day from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., which are perfect for getting around comfortably on the bike paths in Riva, Arco, and Torbole. For rentals of professional mountain bikes or e-bikes, we partner with the best specialty shops in the area, located just a short walk from the hotel.

  • Do you have an electric car charging station?

    Yes, you can charge your electric car at the property by requesting the service at the front desk. There is a fee for this service.

Swimming Pool Access and Rules


  • Do you have a pool?

    Yes, the hotel’s crowning jewel is our Sky Pool on the panoramic terrace on the 6th and top floor. The pool is heated (from May through September) and surrounded by a sunbathing area with lounge chairs and umbrellas, offering a breathtaking view of the mountains and Lake Garda.

  • What are the hours for the rooftop pool?

    The Sky Pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

  • How deep is the pool?

    The pool has a fixed depth of 1.20 meters.

  • Do you provide towels / pool towels?

    Yes, the hotel provides up to 2 towels per person per day free of charge.

  • What are the rules of conduct at the pool?

    You must shower before entering the water. The pool area is a relaxation area: diving, running, and bringing in inflatable mats and toys are prohibited. Topless sunbathing is prohibited. Bringing in outside food or drinks is prohibited. The terrace offers a full-service bar, snack bar, and restaurant.

    • Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and in indoor common areas. Smoking is permitted only on private balconies and in outdoor areas (terrace, garden).

    • Parking: Cars must be parked exclusively within designated spaces to ensure order and access for all guests.
